Death Cab For Cutie two new songs their live debuts at their first show of the year.
The band recently confirmed details of their new album, ‘Thank You For Today’. The record is their first since 2015’s ‘Kintsugi’.
Kicking off their European tour at the Amsterdamse Bostheater in Amsterdam Forest last night (June 16), Death Cab premiered ‘Gold Rush’ early on in the set, while ‘Summer Years’ followed in the latter part of the performance. “This is the first time we’re playing any of this stuff,” frontman Ben Gibbard said. “I say that not for any reason to make you feel extra super special, but to give us an out if we happen to fuck it up.”
