Drake brings Chris Brown out on stage in Los Angeles

"I think this guy’s one of the most talented human beings on the planet"

Drake was joined live by Chris Brown during the Los Angeles stop of his current tour with Migos, introducing the controversial artist as “one of the most talented human beings on the planet”.

In the clip you can watch below, Drake tells the crowd at the Staples Center: “I want to share this moment with y’all tonight. This is something I waited a long time for. I got the utmost respect… I think this guy’s one of the most talented human beings on the planet.

“I never really got my chance to show him. So I figured tonight, in Staples Center, with each and every one of y’all, it would be the perfect time to share this moment.”

Brown then arrives onstage via an ascending platform before a rendition of his 2017 track ‘Party’, which originally featured Usher and Gucci Mane.

Drake later posted on Instagram about the appearance, saying: “Last time I was on stage with Breezy was 2009 at Virginia Commonwealth University…tonight I got to reconnect with him for the first night at Staples! I love a good full circle moment. Thank you.” The Virginia show was actually in 2010.

It marks the seeming end in a longstanding off-and-on feud between the two rappers.

Last summer Brown was reportedly embroiled in a brawl with Drake’s current partners on the ‘Aubrey and the Three Amigos’ tour, Migos.

Brown has faced  numerous controversies throughout his career, including a charge of felony assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 for which he was sentenced to community service. In May he was sued by a woman who was allegedly raped at his house.

In August Brown responded to the claims. He reportedly highlighted that the woman had not accused him of touching or physically harming her, or that he threatened her with violence.

In July he was arrested moments after he finished his show in West Palm Beach, Florida, in connection with an outstanding warrant.

Earlier this year, Kendall Jenner received backlash after working with Brown.
