The Korean singers performed at the 2018 opening ceremony in Pyeongchang
The 2018 Winter Olympics opened in Pyeongchang, South Korea, this week and four of Korea’s most well-known artists collaborated on a live cover of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine.’
The performance included Ha Hyun-woo of indie rock band Guckkasten, K-Pop duo Bolbbalgan4’s Ahn Ji-young, solo artist Lee Eun-mi and K-pop group Deulgukhwa’s Jeon In-Kwon. The quartet each sang a verse of the 1971 classic during the opening ceremony.

Taking to the centre of the stadium, the singers held hands as they covered the Lennon classic, surrounded by spectators holding candles.
An estimated 35,000 spectators were in attendance at the Olympic Stadium, with temperatures reaching as low as -6C during the two-hour ceremony.
The ceremony also included Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un look-a-likes along with the return of Tonga’s Pita Taufatofua, who went viral after appearing topless at the 2016 Rio opening ceremony.
