Haim and former Saturday Night Live star Andy Samberg have teamed up for Electric Guest‘s new video ‘Dear To Me’.
The LA trio have previously provided backing vocals to the electro-soul’s duo’s work and they do the same in the clip you can watch below.
Haim are currently working on their second album.
The band, who have been working with ex-Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij and ‘Days Are Gone’ producer Ariel Rechtshaid on their sophomore LP, said they had over 12 songs after heading into the studio to record the album in April.
Haim’s debut album, ‘Days Are Gone’, was released in 2013.
They cancelled a series of European tour dates over the summer including Reading And Leeds to concentrate on the record.
The group said in a note posted to their Facebook page at the time that they had now reached a “critical point” in the process, which had led to the decision.
“We hate to disappoint you guys that had plans to come see us and promise we’ll be back in the near future to share our new music with you,” they added.
The trio also recently shared a video in which they revisit their high school to surprise an old teacher.
The band returned to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts for a campaign organised by the California Lottery that celebrates the state’s educators.
The trio paid a visit to their former history teacher, Mr. Freedman, to thank him for inspiring them.
“Growing up in LA, my sisters and I were all lucky enough to go to the same public schools and meet some pretty inspiring teachers,” the group wrote, explaining the project.
“In high school, we all had the same history teacher, Mr. Freedman. His class was our safe zone to speak freely, voice our opinions, and share our dreams. He is someone that all three of us look back on fondly and still talk about today.”
