Watch the humorous video for Two Door Cinema Club’s new single ‘Talk’

It's the first new music from the band since 2016's 'Gameshow'

Two Door Cinema Club have released a humorous video for their new single, ‘Talk’. Scroll down to watch it now.

The track is the first to be released by the band since their 2016 album, ‘Gameshow’. It was recorded in London and LA with their long-time collaborator and acclaimed producer Jacknife Lee.

The video for the song shows the band and additional people acting out the scenarios in the lyrics, often in surreal ways. It was directed by Max Sidentopf, the Namibian-German conceptual artist and designer behind the Toto Forever installation in Africa.

The release of ‘Talk’ follows a series of interactive billboards posted around the world teasing new music from the trio.

In a press release, frontman Alex Trimble said of the song: “I love the pop thing. I love experimenting and going to different places, I love doing things that are a little bit wonky and I love the idea of doing something we haven’t done before, why can’t we do all of those things at once? That’s what it was, doing whatever felt right… It sounds like Two Door Cinema Club – not a Two Door Cinema Club there’d ever been before but that’s what I love. We can always do something new but it always feels like something we’ve done.”

Meanwhile, the band were recently confirmed for a number of festivals both abroad and in the UK, including Tramlines, Y Not, Truck, and Victorious, all of which they will headline.
