Watch Kelly Rowland get Niall Horan’s name wrong

Embarrassing incident occurred at last night's AMAs

Kelly Rowland mispronounced Niall Horan‘s name while introducing him at the American Music Awards (AMAs) last night. Watch in the clip below.

Ex-One Direction star Horan won the Best New Artist Award at the ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday night (November 19) and also performed his hit single ‘Slow Hands’.

Introducing Horan’s performance, former Destiny’s Child singer Rowland said: “And here he is with his hit song ‘Slow Hands’, it’s Neil Horan!”

Following the gaffe, Rowland later uploaded a video of her correctly pronouncing Horan’s first name, also saying that she “loves” his song.

Horan himself replied to the incident, tweeting at Rowland: “Hahahahah I love ya kelly, don’t you worry. I’ve heard them all.”

Also at the AMAs, Linkin Park honoured the memory of the late Chester Bennington with an emotional speech.

As they picked up the award for favourite alternative rock artist, Bennington’s bandmates Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon dedicated the award to him after his death earlier this year.

“First of all, thank you so much to all the fans here and around the world who voted for the band, who have supported the band through thick and thin”, Linkin Park co-founder Shinoda said.

Meanwhile, Pink has also denied throwing shade at Christina Aguilera during her fellow singer’s AMA performance.
