Lana Del Rey and Jared Leto are surrounded by tigers, snakes, and Courtney Love in new Gucci advert

The pair joined forces with the brand last November

Lana Del Rey has teamed up with Jared Leto in a new advert for Gucci’s Guilty fragrance.

In the clip directed by Glen Luchford and creatively directed by Alessandro Michele, the pair are presented as a couple going about their mundane routine before a number of animals come into view.

Besides the various shots of ostriches, tigers, owls, and snakes surrounding the couple, at other points in the advert Del Rey is seen carting Leto around a grocery store and joins him in getting her nails and hair done at a salon. Elsewhere the duo dance around in a laundrette and hang out in a motel room.

The biggest moment, however, is reserved for Courtney Love who cameos as a waitress for the pair. Watch the full clip below.

The promotional video, describes the pair as “individuals who live and love outside of social conformism.”

The pair were announced as the new faces of Gucci Guilty fragrances last November.

Del Rey and Leto have a public friendship with the brand’s creative director, Michele. He styled the duo for the 2018 Met Gala theme of ‘Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination’.

Meanwhile, Del Rey has recently continued to preview her upcoming new album ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’ with a fresh video clip of the track ‘Happiness Is A Butterfly’ and the song ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me…but I have it’.

Two more singles from ‘Norman Fucking Rockwell’ have also emerged since the album was first announced: ‘Venice Bitch’ and ‘Mariners Apartment Complex’.

Del Rey has confirmed that the album is finished – and she also intends to publish a book of poetry in the near future.

“I think I’m just going to self-publish it and put it out beforehand,” she said. “It’s kind of random. Which is kind of another one of those things I just want out there just for me.”
