Watch Mike Myers perform an ‘Austin Powers’ song with Mac DeMarco

Myers delivered a rendition of 'BBC' in LA

Mac DeMarco was joined by Mike Myers at a show in Los Angeles this week.

DeMarco was part of the house band at the Largo nightclub on Monday night (May 7), where he was joined by special guests including Weyes Blood’s Natalie Mering, Kirin J Callinan, Connan Mockasin, Crowded House‘s Neil Finn and his son Liam Finn.

Wearing a Canada-themed Joy Division t-shirt, Myers fronted the band for a rendition of ‘BBC’ from 1997’s Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery. Watch in the clip below.

DeMarco has also unveiled two new songs, called ‘She’s My Sweet’ and ‘Fuck The Toronto Raptors’. He says the songs were “recorded on the red carpet at the Met Gala”. They follow the slow jam of new track ‘Eternally 12′, an instrumental collaboration with Melanie Faye).

DeMarco’s latest album ‘This Old Dog’ was released in May 2017.

Last December, he live-streamed 26 minutes of unheard material. Then, this April, DeMarco shared a strange four-minute clip of a cat named Pickles eating, soundtracked by some jazzy music.

Meanwhile, Mac DeMarco has been confirmed to return to Europe to perform at Pitchfork Paris music festival from 1-3 November 2018 in the French capital.

Also on the bill are Bon Iver, Fever Ray, The Voidz, Blood Orange, Chvrches, Dream Wife, DJ Koze Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks and more.
