Video footage shared on YouTube shows the singer helping to dislodge a piece of food stuck in the diner's throat.
Olly Murs recently came to the aid of a fellow restaurant diner when she began choking on her food.
Video footage uploaded to YouTube shows the singer performing the Heimlich manoeuvre on the woman, which seems to be effective, freeing the piece of food that is stuck in her throat.
“Was out for dinner and saw Olly Murs help a choking woman,” wrote “George 90”, the person who shared the footage on YouTube. Watch the video below.
Olly Murs released his fifth album ’24HRS’ last month (November) and saw it become his fourth to reach Number One. He will support the album with an extensive arena tour next spring, and then with a run of outdoor shows in the summer.
The X Factor singer has also been confirmed for Teenage Cancer Trust’s legendary run of gigs at the Royal Albert Hall in 2017.
When his summer single ‘You Don’t Know Love’ failed to crack the Top Ten, Murs attacked the state of the UK’s Official Charts, arguing that the the introduction of streaming makes it harder for British artists to succeed.
“The chart now, for breaking artists, is harder. It’s not a fair chart at the moment,” he claimed in August.
