Watch Panic! At The Disco’s stunning ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ cover at the American Music Awards

"Brendon Urie is the best Male rock singer currently alive on earth."

Panic! At The Disco have won huge plaudits after an impressive cover of Queen‘s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ at the American Music Awards last night.

After previously covering the iconic track during their headline set at Reading & Leeds festivals last summer, the Brendon Urie band revived their cover once more for last night’s ceremony in Los Angeles. However, they’re currently on tour in Australia – which meant that the performance was pre-recorded especially for the event.

Footage of the performance shows Urie beginning the track in typically subdued style, before things get predictably wild as it progresses.

Specifically, Urie has won huge praise for his vocal range – with fans pointing out the strength of his falsetto at approximately 4 minutes and 5 seconds into the clip.

“Brendon Urie is the best Male rock singer currently alive on earth. His tribute to Queen on tonight’s  tonight is going to be incredible”, one fan wrote.

“Urie deserves so much more recognition and respect for his God Given unbelievable talent.”

Another said: “Friendly reminder that Brendon Urie is one of the most talented singers currently on earth and people have slept on him for far too long. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.”

Meanwhile, the rest of the event was defined by Taylor Swift and Camila Cabello – who ruled most of the main categories. Check out the main winners below.
