Watch Paramore cover Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’ live in London

The band mashed up 'Hard Times' with the Debbie Harry classic

Paramore have been covering a snippet of Blondie classic ‘Heart of Glass’ on their current UK and European tour, mashing it up with their smash-hit single ‘Hard Times’.

The band, who played London’s O2 Arena last Friday (January 12), have been touring the globe on their third run in support of latest album ‘After Laughter’.

Taking to the stage to the chirruping pop hit of ‘Hard Times’, the band started their show with a live mash-up of the ‘After Laughter’ single and Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’ – check out fan-shot footage of the cover below, starting at the 4:10 mark.

Paramore recently invited Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo to perform with them live on stage after he and his band covered their song ‘Misery Business‘.

Last month, footage emerged online of the young actor and his band Work In Progress covering Paramore along with Foo Fighters and Fall Out Boy. Check it out below.

Now, Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams has invited Matarazzo to play with them in future.

“I saw your band’s Miz Biz cover and all i can say is: ‘open invite to crash a pmore stage and thrash those luscious locks around (& harmonize, obv) whenever the spirit (of rock) leads you’,” she wrote on Twitter. Matarazzo then replied: “Dude!! Yesss!!!! Let’s make this happen! Thanks.”
