The star recently shared her first solo single in eight years
Robyn has made her comeback to the live stage, days after releasing her first solo single in eight years.
The Swedish star released ‘Missing U’ last week (August 1), after teasing fans with a short documentary of the same name.
Last week (August 2), Robyn appeared at Ibiza’s Pikes Hotel alongside friends Ssion, Kindness and Mr. Tophat, before taking over the Balearic island’s Café Mambo last night (August 5) to perform her new single and some of her biggest hits.
The musician appeared for just under 20 minutes as part of Radio 1’s Ibiza 2018 residency. During that time, she performed ‘Dancing On My Own’, ‘Missing U’, ‘Call Your Girlfriend’, and ‘With Every Heartbeat’. You can watch the whole performance above.
Speaking to Radio 1’s Annie Mac last week (August 1), Robyn confirmed her new album was complete. “I just finished it a couple of weeks ago,” she said. “I’m still mixing it. [It will be out] this year, for sure.”
The record will make the musician’s first full-length solo release since 2010’s ‘Body Talk‘, which featured ‘Dancing On Your Own’.
In 2015, she released an EP with her project La Bagatelle Magique and another the following year with Mr. Tophat.
