Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds have shared a lyric video for their track ‘God Help Us All (Demo)’.
The band released their third album ‘Who Built The Moon?‘ last November. In a four-star review, NME said: “It’s Noel’s freewheeling solo freedom and return-to-mega-form song-writing that makes this amongst the albums of the year. Noel shoots for ‘…The Moon’, and strikes bullseye.”
Directed by Ste McGregor, the animated video sees the white outline of figures holding up protest placards with the lyrics on in front of a starry night sky. Watch the video below.
Last month, Gallagher joined Johnny Marr in sending a video tribute to a special anniversary service remembering the victims of the Manchester Arena terror attack. A total of 22 people were killed and 139 wounded when a suicide bomber detonated a homemade bomb at the end of an Ariana Grande concert at the venue.
“This is Noel Gallagher, and I am here on behalf of Manchester Together In One Voice,” the former Oasis guitarist said in the clip. “I am going to introduce to you my song ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’. If you look closely, I shall be miming along with you. Thank you very much.”
Meanwhile, Gallagher’s fans joined a busker to deliver a rendition of the Oasis hit ‘Wonderwall’ after the musician’s show at Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on May 6. After the gig ended, fans gathered outside St David’s shopping centre to help a busker perform the track.
