‘Watch The Throne 2’ could be off as Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly sever ties with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian

West had previously claimed the follow-up to his collaborative record with Jay-Z was "coming soon"

Beyoncé and Jay-Z have reportedly severed ties with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, putting the likelihood of a ‘Watch The Throne 2’ album in jeopardy.

West and Jay-Z released the original ‘Watch The Throne‘ album in 2011. The joint record featured the singles ‘Otis’, ‘Paris’, ‘H.A.M.’, and more.

The ‘Ye‘ rapper had claimed a follow-up record was “coming soon” last month – an announcement that surprised fans given West’s previous insistence he would not record another track with Jay-Z. West had called his friend out in 2016, claiming he had been left off of Drake‘s ‘Pop Style’ because of “Tidal/Apple bullshit.”

However, it now seems like West’s recent political comments could have put paid to ‘Watch The Throne 2’ happening. A source told RadarOnline Beyoncé and Jay-Z are “sick” of his political “bullshit”.

“They are outraged over Kanye’s recent political rants,” they said. “They think Kanye is a disgrace and is only doing this for attention. Beyoncé and Jay-Z know that Kanye is seeing a future in politics, but they feel that they cannot associate themselves with them from this point forward. They want nothing to do with either one of them.”

West is due to visit Donald Trump at the White House tomorrow (October 11) to discuss prison reform, gang reform, and “manufacturing resurgence” in America. The rapper will also meet with Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner.

The visit comes nearly two weeks after the star’s appearance on SNL, during which he wore a Make America Great Again cap. As the show came to a close, West gave another speech in support of Trump, saying: “So many times I talk to a white person and [they] say: ‘How could you like Trump, he’s racist?”

He added: “Well if I was concerned about racism I would’ve moved out of America a long time ago.”

SNL star Kenan Thompson likened the moment to the rapper taking the cast members “hostage”. The show’s stars were all gathered on stage behind West when he started talking, with many exiting the set as his sentiments became clear.
