Following the show, he confirmed that he had indeed broken his ankle on Twitter but he refused to cancel his performance at Austin City Limits and told fans he would do the show in a wheelchair.
Footage has now emerged, which you can watch below of the Doncaster singer, being wheeled onstage and performing for the crowd before they invade the stage.
Yungblud also posted pictures of himself leaping around the stage despite being in a cast.
Earlier this year, Yungblud took part inthe Vans Warped Tour, the famed punk-pop carnival, that saw him criss-cross the US as a new act.
Speaking to NME‘s Thomas Smith at the time, Yungblud summed up the energy of his shows and his debut album ’21st Century Liability’. “I’ve always had a lot of energy and had a lot of opinions all my life – people misunderstood that about me being naughty, gobby or different. This record goes out out to all those people, because it’s a really fucking bad way to feel. Now I’ve found an outlet for that. It’s the first time in my life I’ve been listened to,” he added.
