The offspring of legendary songwriter Jimmy Webb return to the fray...

THE WEBB BROTHERS have announced details of a new single for August, preceded by a tour supporting Eels in July.

The band will release ‘Summer People’, the first single from their forthcoming album ‘Maroon’, on August 21 through Mews 5/WEA. The single will feature three new songs across the formats – ‘Nostalgia’, ‘Bad Weather’ and ‘Static’.

When the band take to the road with Eels on their July, Webb Brothers Christian and Justin‘s sound will be boosted by a second keyboard player – their younger sibling James Webb. They are scheduled to play: Cambridge Corn Exchange (13) London Hammersmith Apollo (14) Bristol Colston Hall (15) Southampton Guildhall (16) Oxford Apollo (18) York Opera House (19) Manchester Palace Theatre (20) Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (21)

In addition to the tour, the band also appear at the V2000 Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of August 19-20.
