The Weeknd to release new Daft Punk collaboration tomorrow

The Weeknd will drop two new songs from his 'Starboy' album tomorrow.

The Weeknd has teased the release of two new songs from his upcoming ‘Starboy’ album.

One, ‘I Feel It Coming’, is his second collaboration with Daft Punk following the album’s hit title track. The other new song is called ‘Party Monster’. Both will drop tomorrow (November 17), The Weeknd said on Instagram.

The Weeknd recently discussed working with Daft Punk in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. “Their studio is like a spaceship, there’s a lot of gear, but the way they make music, the way they explain it, is very cinematic,” he said.

“It’s like they’re reading a page out of a novel— ‘We want to make sure that at the end, it feels like the sun’s coming up, and maybe there’s a car chase.’ They can get technical, but it was interesting how they visualise making music.”

‘I Feel It Coming’ and ‘Party Monster’ will be the third and fourth songs The Weeknd has shared from the album following ‘Starboy’ and ‘False Alarm’.

The album is due out on November 25, but none of its other track titles have been revealed. Other producers who’ve worked on the album, whose title is partly a nod to the late David Bowie, include Cirkut, Ben Billions, Doc McKinney and Mano.
