He also shares the huge 'Party Monster'
‘I Feel It Coming’ follows on from previous Daft Punk collaboration, launch single and the title track from his upcoming third album ‘Starboy’ – featuring the laid-back soulful of classic The Weeknd while channelling ‘Off The Wall’ era Michael Jackson, but elevated by the sweet electro and smooth disco of Daft Punk’s ‘Random Access Memories’ – complete with that trademark vocoder sound. ‘Party Boy’ meanwhile, is another sombre dose of sultry R&B noir.

Revealing that the title ‘Starboy’ was a tribute to the late, great David Bowie, The Weeknd said: “I just love Bowie, I think he’s the ultimate inventor.”
Speaking of working with Daft Punk, he continued: “Their studio is like a spaceship, there’s a lot of gear, but the way they make music, the way they explain it, is very cinematic. It’s like they’re reading a page out of a novel— ‘We want to make sure that at the end, it feels like the sun’s coming up, and maybe there’s a car chase.’ They can get technical, but it was interesting how they visualise making music.”
