Weezer perform ‘White Album’ songs on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ – watch

Band release new album in April

Weezer performed two songs from their forthcoming 2016 studio album on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (January 19).

‘Weezer’ is the band’s latest self-titled album and is being dubbed ‘The White Album’ by fans thanks to its all-white cover (see above). It follows similarly blue, green and red themed albums from their back catalogue.

The record will be released on April 1 and includes the singles ‘Do You Wanna Get High?’ and ‘Thank God for Girls’, both of which were played by the band on Kimmel’s chat show. Watch both performances below.

The band will also perform live in Manchester and London on the week of the album’s release with gigs at Manchester Academy (April 3) and London’s O2 Academy Brixton (April 5) announced last week.

Weezer released their ninth and most recent album ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’ in October 2014.
