[url=]WEEZER have announced that they’ve almost completed their much anticipated new album.
The record’s running order was delayed, according to Billboard, while frontman Rivers Cuomo completed a term at Harvard University, but now the running order Is “97 per-cent” settled.
According to the band’s [url=]website the album is almost ready thanks to “some heavy listening sessions between the band and producer/mentor Rick Rubin”. It seems sessions from last year are being used in preference to earlier work.
A May release is planned, with ‘Beverly Hills’ expected to be the first single, set for release in March.
