WEEZER have found a temporary replacement for MIKEY WELSH.
As previously reported on NME.COM, the group were forced to look for a replacement for Walsh after the bassist reportedly checked into a psychiatric hospital.
Now, according to a posting on the band’s official website, www.weezer.com, the group have announced their forthcoming live commitments will be undertaken with fill-in bassist Scott Shriner.
Weezer are also planning to return to Europe in October.
The band expect to play a number of UK shows to compensate for the cancellation of a series of festival appearances and club gigs from July.
