Weezer’s Rivers Cuomo complains after repeatedly receiving fan mail meant for Incubus

Singer expresses confusion during appearance on 'Larry King Now'

Weezers’ Rivers Cuomo has revealed that people keep sending him fan mail meant for Incubus frontman Brandon Boyd.

In an appearance on Larry King’s web series Larry King Now, the singer discussed the mysterious mail that has appeared at not one, but two of his home addresses. “I get these elaborate fan packages, only they’re not for me, they’re for the singer of Incubus, Brandon Boyd,” Cuomo said. Cuomo recently appeared on pop supergroup McBusted’s album, which was released in December. The band made up of members of McFly and Busted collaborated with Cuomo and Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus on the record.

In November, Cuomo also joined Real Estate live on stage for a surprise collaboration. The US band were performing at the Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles when they were joined by Cuomo to perform Weezer song ‘No Other One’. The song originally appeared on Weezer album ‘Pinkerton’ in 1996. “We’re going to try something that we’ve never really rehearsed,” Cuomo told the audience prior to the performance.

Weezer released their ninth studio album ‘Everything Will Be Alright In The End’ in October, when they offered fans the chance to select from three tracks on the record to be their next single.
