A meme is born...
Lady Gaga has become the toast of the internet, after her performance of ‘Shallow’ at the Grammys was given the meme treatment.
Gaga’s emotional performance of Shallow – the standout song from hit movie A Star Is Born – ended with the singer bending over her microphone and staring directly into the camera.
Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t long before viewers at home began giving it the meme treatment.
Posting on Twitter, one user wrote: “What my food sees when I check on them in the oven”, alongside the image of Gaga peering deep into the camera.
Another joked: “Me when the bar has last call.”

Gaga’s performance came as she won three Grammys including best pop performance for Joanne and best pop duet for Shallow, from A Star Is Born.
“If I don’t get another chance to say this, I just want to say I’m so proud to be a part of a movie that addresses mental health issues. They’re so important,” Gaga said in her acceptance speech.
“A lot of artists deal with that. And we gotta take care of each other. So if you see somebody that’s hurting, don’t look away. And if you’re hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody and take them up in your head with you. I love you, thank you so much.”
