White Lies play first gig since album sessions at T In The Park

Gloom-rockers watched by Glasvegas in the Futures Tent

White Lies were watched by members of Glasvegas as they performed in the Futures Tent at T In The Park this afternoon (12 July).

Playing five songs from their forthcoming debut album which was only completed last week, White Lies‘ lengthy, epic numbers nevertheless easily filled their time-slot.

Dressed in black and lit by spotlights, the four-piece quickly established high drama in the tent as ‘Unfinished Business’ and ‘Farewell To The Fairground’ showed off their Interpol and Killers-influenced sound.

Closing slow-burner ‘Death’ had the entire crowd clapping along as the song reached its climax.

Glasvegas are set to play on the same stage later on in the afternoon.
