“Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July 26 2015, surrounded by her family,” representative Ms Kristen Foster said.

“She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Brown was the daughter of Houston and singer Bobby Brown, who divorced in 2007 after a tumultuous 14 year marriage.

Brown’s court-appointed conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, recently filed a civil lawsuit against the 22-year-old’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, claiming that he caused Brown “substantial bodily harm” in an altercation that led to being found “face down in a bathtub, with her mouth swollen and another tooth knocked out”.

Gordon, who is also accused of stealing money from Brown and falsely claiming to be her husband, has yet to respond to the accusations since the lawsuit was filed.

Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub on February 11, 2012. Her death was caused by accidental drowning, heart disease and cocaine use. In her will, she left everything to Bobbi Kristina, her only child.
