21 year old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January
Bobby Brown has told fans his daughter Bobbi Kristina is ‘awake.’
The singer commented on his daughter’s condition during his set at the Verizon Theatre in Dallas on Saturday (April 18). Speaking between songs he told the audience, “Bobbi is awake. She’s watching me.”
The daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown has been in a critical condition since she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in January.
At the start of February it was reported that Brown was in a medically induced coma and was on a ventilator in Emory University Hospital’s intensive care unit. Doctors said nothing will be known about her brain condition until she wakes up.
The 21-year-old was discovered by her husband Nick Gordon and a friend on January 31. Gordon attempted to resuscitate her until medics arrived. “They called 911, started CPR on her, and police arrived first,” Police spokeswoman Lisa Holland previously explained. “We took over the lifesaving measures until the fire/rescue and an ambulance arrived. Please keep her and the family in your thoughts and prayers.”
It was recently revealed that Bobbi Kristina Brown’s neighbours called the police a week before she was found unresponsivehere in a bathtub, according to a 911 call.
In the call, made on January 23, a man who identified himself as a security guard at the gated area where Brown lives said that one of Brown’s neighbours had reported a fight at the address.
The guard said the neighbour reported people “hitting each other and swinging” outside the home.
It was previously reported that police are investigating foul play after finding injuries on Bobbi Kristina Brown’s face and mouth. New reports suggested that there were issues of jealousy between Brown – the daughter of late singer Whitney Houston – and her husband Nick Gordon. Sources said there was a history of violence between the couple, and that police were looking into a possible altercation more than an hour before Brown was found.
Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub on February 11, 2012. Her death was caused by accidental drowning, heart disease and cocaine use.
