Whitney Houston’s rep denies that Rihanna will play singer in new biopic

Late singer's rep says there is 'no truth' to rumours that a film biopic is in development

Whitney Houston‘s representative has denied reports that circulated yesterday (February 28) that Rihanna is being lined-up to play the late singer in a new Hollywood biopic.

The Daily Mail had reported that both the ‘Talk That Talk’ singer and Jennifer Hudson were under consideration to portray Houston in a new biopic, which was being put together by Houston’s friend and record label boss Clive Davis.

However, the late singer’s representative has denied that there are any such plans, telling GossipCop.com: “There is no truth to this. Clive is not putting together a biopic.”

The report also suggested that Willow Smith was in line to portray Whitney Houston as a child, but this has also been denied.

Whitney Houston passed away earlier this month at the age of 48. Her cause of death has not yet been officially confirmed.
