The band keep things simple
Wilco have revealed the title of their eagerly-awaited new album.
The Chicago band will simply call the new record ‘Wilco (The Album)’. It will also contain a track titled ‘Wilco, The Song’, which drummer Glenn Kotche told Rolling Stone is “a great, upbeat song professing our love for our fans”.
The band’s seventh album is due out in late June and features 11 tracks, including ‘Deeper Down’, ‘Everlasting’ and ‘You And I’, which features guest vocals from Feist.
The band are also plotting a US summer tour in support of the new album, which will hit festivals including Bonnaroo and clubs throughout the US, as previously reported. The band have just added a third date in Los Angeles on June 25 at The Wiltern, after selling out the first two dates.
