The grime MC has hinted at a collaboration

Wiley has hinted at a collaboration with Boy Better Know co-founder JME, after tweeting the hashtag, ‘#JmeWileyAlbum’.

Wiley’s last album, ‘Snakes & Ladders’, was released in 2014. Last year, the MC put out eight singles in as many weeks which were later compiled on an EP, titled ‘#8’.

Taking to Twitter, Wiley wrote: “Yes maaaaan when me and Jme start work it just flows neatly #JmeWileyAlbum”.

Back in March, Wiley revealed that he planned to release his eleventh studio album on September 2. The Bow MC said that record will include 16 tracks and be proceeded by three singles.

He later cancelled the “pointless” record, writing on Twitter on July 28: “I’m not dropping an album anymore.Pointless I reckon.” He continued the tweet, writing: “If anyone needs help with a project or Riddims or features holla me.Im here ready to help.”

The following day, he reassured fans that it would still be released on September 2. When September 2 rolled around, he tweeted “Godfather. Coming 28.10.16”.

In a candid interview earlier this year, Wiley named Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Boy In Da Corner’ and Kano’s ‘Home Sweet Home’ as grime’s two greatest albums.
