Will Smith is being sued by songwriters of GRANDMASTER FLASH AND THE FURIOUS FIVE‘s song ‘SUPERAPPIN”.
According to US website [url=]www.launch.com, Guy Todd Williams, Nathaniel Glover, Melvin Glover and Eddie Morris claim thatSmith used a sample of the song on his ‘Will2K’ track, on the ‘Willennium’ album without permission.
Filing the lawsuit at a San Francisco court on Friday (June 23), they additionally claimed that the superstar failed to credit the four songwriters, instead using the names of “Will Smith and Bobby Robinson“.
The four are demanding compensation for damages, accounting of the defendants’ profits and trial by jury.
