WILL YOUNG has been targeted by thieves who raided his LONDON home and stole a laptop containing lyrics for unpublished songs.
The 25-year-old former ‘Pop Idol’ winner is said to be horrified after discovering pictures taken of him dressed in drag on the set of the forthcoming film ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’ were among personal items taken. Twelve designer suits were also stolen in the burglary on Saturday, reports today’s (November 4) edition of The Sun.
Police have recovered most of the stolen pictures but the suits and the laptop remain missing.
Six pictures were recovered last night after police arrested two men at a snooker club close to the singer’s home in Holland Park. Officers had been tipped off that three youths were trying to sell photographs.
Police believe that the singer was deliberately targeted.
Two men have been charged and are due to appear at west London magistrates court today.
Unemployed Sharife El-Whabe, 24, of Manor Street, Chelsea, is accused of burglary and money laundering.
Annis Seddiki, 21, of Golborne Road, Ladbroke Grove, who is also jobless, faces a charge of money laundering.
A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed two men had been charged in connection with the burglary.
