Wire announce plans for UK tour later this year – ticket details

The trio start a 15-date run this November

Wire have announced plans for their second 2011 tour of the UK.

Colin Newman, Graham Lewis and Robert Grey of the cult art-punk band will be joined by live guitarist Matt Simms for the tour, which kicks off in Birmingham on November 15. The tour follows the release of their 2011 album ‘Red Barked Tree’.

A live album recorded at one of the shows from their earlier jaunt will be released to support the tour. More details of the album will be revealed later in the year.
