S.C.U.M. confirmed as second on the bill, alongside Niki and the Dove and DZ Deathrays
NME today (August 2) announces the acts to perform on the upcoming Emerge NME Radar Tour. The new music showcase sees the very best in new and innovative
talent play in 14 UK towns across October.
Enigmatic artist Wolf Gang – pictured above – headlines the tour following the recent release of his debut album ‘Suego Faults’ and support slots with The Killers, Florence And The Machine and Editors.
Post-punk/art rock group S.C.U.M – pictured right – are second on the bill. The shows will follow the release of their brand new album in September.
Wolf Gang and S.C.U.M will be picking up where previous Radar tour acts, including Anna Calvi, Hurts, Crystal Castles, The Joy Formidable, Chapel Club and Everything Everything have left off, representing the hottest new music right now.
NME editor Krissi Murison said:
NME Radar tours have a grand tradition of being an early showcase for artists who go onto great success. This year looks set to prove the rule again with Wolf Gang and S.C.U.M already having brilliant debut album reviews across the board.
Completing the line up are Stockholm’s Niki and the Dove – performing at gigs October 2-12, and Australian duo DZ Deathrays – performing at gigs October 13-16. The last two dates of the tour will see all bands come together for a four-band bill.
The tour kicks off in Exeter on October 2, and ends at London KOKO on October 18.
Tickets for the Emerge NME Radar Tour go on sale on at NME.COM tomorrow (August 3), and then generally on Friday August 5. Tickets are priced between £9-11.
