Wretch 32 has admitted that he would love to collaborate with Coldplay.

The rapper, who is currently working on his new untitled third album, told NME in an interview you can watch by scrolling and clicking above, that he is keen to hook up with Chris Martin and co.

He said:

I’d love to get in the studio with them. Obviously I understand at the moment they are probably doing so many different things but if it could happen it would be amazing.

Wretch also praised their sound and ability to connect with the masses.

He added: “When it comes to a band like Coldplay I think they emulate everything what music is about in this day and age and this century. I think they have a hint of an old school vibe as well as something slightly futuristic and it just manages to be so current.”

The rapper also talks about how he lost songs and lyrics for his new album when he dropped his phone in the bath and how he lays down tracks when he’s recording in the studio.
