the single 'Gravel Pit' debuts at Number Six...

WU-TANG CLAN scored their highest ever UK chart placing this week (November 19) when ‘GRAVEL PIT’ debuted at number six.

The track, the Staten Island nine-piece’s first single in three years, is also the first to lifted from their third album ‘The W’ , released in the UK today.

Their last single ‘Triumph’, from their number one LP ‘Wu-Tang Forever’, narrowly missed the Top 40 at number 46 in August 1997.

‘Gravel Pit’ features all members of the group, plus the vocal talents of Paulissa Moorman, who also starred on Ghostface Killah’s recent club-smash ‘Cherchez LaGhost’ alongside with fellow Wu-Tang member U-God

The group have made two videos to accompany ‘Gravel Pit’ one at six minutes and a second version, said to incorporate ‘Be Careful’ and ‘Protect Ya Neck (The Jump Off)’, at ten minutes.
