Ol’ Dirty Bastard vocals to feature on new Wu-Tang Clan album

'A Better Tomorrow' will feature an appearance from the late rapper

Vocals from the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard are set to feature on the forthcoming new album from Wu Tang Clan.

The rap collective’s 20th anniversary album, which has the working title ‘A Better Tomorrow’ and looks set for a November release, will include previously unheard material from ODB, who passed away in 2004.

Speaking to The Line Of Best Fit, Inspectah Deck commented: “RZA has a bunch of Ol’ Dirty tracks and verses that for years nobody’s heard and, from my last conversation [with RZA], we’re supposed to have an Ol’ Dirty track on there. It may be by itself or we might join it on to another song. But Ol’ Dirty is going to be part of this album, that’s a fact.”

Wu-Tang Clan play Manchester O2 Apollo tonight (July 25) and London’s O2 Academy Brixton tomorrow (July 26). Raekwon will appear with GZA, RZA, Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, U-God and Masta Killa at Croatia’s Terraneo festival on August 9, marking an almost complete version of the group’s original line-up.
