The controversial rapper was shot and killed in Broward County, Florida as he was leaving a motorcycle dealership earlier this month (June 18). One suspect has been arrested and charged in relation to the crime, with another man named as a person of interest in the case.
A public, open-casket memorial took place in Florida this week (June 27), with thousands of fans – plus rap peers like Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Denzel Curry – in attendance.
On Thursday (June 28), a video was posthumously released for the late star’s single ‘Sad!’. The clip, which was filmed before the rapper’s passing, sees XXXTentacion attending his own funeral, proceeding to fight his ‘former self’. Watch beneath. The suspect charged in relation to the rapper’s death has been named as 22-year-old Dedrick Williams. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office have named another person of interest as 22-year-old Robert Allen, who they believe is connected to the rapper’s murder. Officers said Allen had a prior arrest history in Broward County and was arrested in 2016 on 22 counts of identity fraud.
