Yak, Little Comets, Bright Young People and Broken Hands are to headline the Jack Rocks This Feeling stage at Isle Of Wight Festival on June 9-12.
Bright Young People headline the opening Thursday night of the festival’s new bands tent, which is sponsored by Jack Daniel’s music offshoot Jack Rocks with the This Feeling club nights. The opening night also stars Broken Witt Rebels and The Barmines.
Yak headline the Friday on a day also featuring Hidden Charms and The Vryll Society. Joining Little Comets on the Saturday are Fronteers and Secret Company. Yak released their debut album ‘Alas Salvation’ last month and have regularly supported The Last Shadow Puppets.
With Broken Hands on the final day are Baby Strange, Jake Evans and Cabbage.
It’s the second year of the Jack Rocks This Feeling stage at the festival, following last year’s event featuring Trampolene, The Sherlocks, Black Rivers and Dave McCabe And The Ramifications.
The festival is headlined by The Who, Queen With Adam Lambert and Friday night co-headliners Stereophonics and Faithless. Also on the bill are Iggy Pop, The Cribs, Adam Ant, Reverend And The Makers, Blossoms, Richard Ashcroft, Everything Everything, The Kills, Half Moon Run, Lissie and Jess Glynne.
