Last weekend Yeah Yeah Yeahs played their first London show of 2013, headlining the ATP event I’ll Be Your Mirror at Alexandra Palace on May 4. Yeah Yeah Yeahs performed for just over an hour with a set featuring songs from all four of their studio albums, including new effort ‘Mosquito’. The set opened with ‘Sacrilege’, minus the gospel choir with new tracks ‘Subway’, ‘Despair’ and ‘Under The Earth’ also featuring.

Dressed in a glittery trouser suit, frontwoman Karen O departed the stage before ‘Zero’ to get her trademark custom leather jacket. Upon returning, a huge inflatable eyeball was pushed out onto the stage as she shot glitter canons into the air and sprayed water from her mouth during ‘Y Control’ and ‘Gold Lion’. The set ended as usual with Yeah Yeah Yeahs performing ‘Maps’ and an elongated version of first album track ‘Date With The Night’.
