Years & Years share new single ‘Shine’ – listen

The track will feature on the band's debut album 'Communion', out in July

Years & Years have unveiled their new single, titled ‘Shine’.

‘Shine’ features on the band’s upcoming debut ‘Communion’, which was previously slated for a June release but has been pushed back to July 10.

The trio, who beat James Bay and Stormzy to top the BBC Sound Of 2015 poll in January, say of ‘Communion’: “We’re all a bit terrified and excited and happy and amazed and lucky.”

Listen to ‘Shine’ below, premiered earlier this evening by Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1. You can also watch the band perform the song live for VEVO in a video too.

The highly anticipated ‘Communion’ is now available to pre-order, and includes the band’s chart-topping single ‘King’. The track, which is the band’s first UK Number One single, took the top spot on the Official Singles Chart in March with sales of 101,000.

The ‘Communion’ tracklisting is as follows:

‘Take Shelter’
‘Eyes Shut’
‘Track 10’ – TBA
