Yoko Ono has revealed her favourite album by The Beatles in a new interview.
The widow of late Beatle John Lennon, Ono recently spoke to US Weekly for their ’25 Things You Don’t Know About Me’ column.
Among other anecdotal things revealed in the interview, Ono confirmed her love for The Beatles’ 1968 self-titled release, better known as ‘The White Album’.
“I don’t know if people will hate me for saying this, but I always preferred ‘The White Album’ to ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’,” Ono said.
“Don’t get me wrong, I love ‘Pepper’s’ too,” she added.
GettyLast month, Ono received the NME Inspiration Award at the NME Awards 2016 with Austin, Texas on the eve of her 83rd birthday.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ono told the Guardian that she never wants to retire from music. She said: “I won’t stop. No, I never think that. Artists are obsessive, they want to keep doing it.”
It was also recently confirmed that Yoko Ono has been released from hospital after she was admitted following flu-like symptoms.
