YOKO ONO is amongst the artists who have contributed to a major exhibition on the LONDON UNDERGROUND.
Starting on November 1 for one month, 42 artists from across the world will contribute works to ‘Art-Tube 01’. The idea of the event is to decorate all six carriages of one Piccadilly Line tube train, with each carriage featuring seven artists exhibiting two art panels each in the area usually saved for advertising.
Other artists who are involved in the project include Damien Hirst, punk performance poet John Cooper Clarke and Vivienne Westwood.
