Zayn Malik reveals emotional ‘It’s Me’ video on Apple Music

New song is follow up to 'Pillowtalk'

Zayn Malik has revealed the video for new single ‘It’s You’.

The video is exclusive to Apple Music, meaning fans will have to pay to see it. The black and white clip was directed by Ryan Hope and features Transformers actress Nicola Peltz and sees Malik don a James Bond-style tuxedo.

‘It’s You’ was performed live on The Tonight Show recently and appears on Malik’s forthcoming debut album ‘Mind of Mine’, which will be released at the end of March.

The break-up song features lyrics such as: “”I won’t / Cover the scar / I’ll let it be / So my silence, so my silence won’t / Be mistaken for believing,” and, “Am I wrong for wanting us to make it? / Tell me your lies / Because I just can’t face it.”

Malik’s debut solo single ‘Pillowtalk’ recently claimed the fastest selling single of 2016 after racking up combined sales of 112,000 in its first week of release.

‘Pillowtak’ also charted higher than any other song One Direction ever released in the US. The closest One Direction came to scoring a chart-topping Billboard Hot 100 single was with ‘Best Song Ever’, which reached Number Two in 2013.

A Lil Wayne remix of ‘Pillowtalk’ appeared online earlier this week.
