Zayn Malik releases ‘Don’t Matter’ remix following ‘unprofessional’ leak

"My fans mean more to me than a stupid leak"

Zayn Malik has released a remix of August Alsina’s track ‘Don’t Matter’ after an internal leak caused it to surface online.

The remix of the Def Jam artist’s track wasn’t meant to be heard but found it’s way online. Responding to this, Zayn has released the track for free on his website.

He revealed this through Twitter, writing:  “This was not a song I intended to put out, but due to unprofessionalism has been leaked by someone and my fans mean more to me than a stupid leak, so here it is free for you to enjoy, before my music drops 🙂 love z”

See the tweet below.

August Alsina responded to the tweet writing: “I’m sending an abundance of love to you! You are my brother, I am yours. I don’t know how this happened but WAY TO MAKE LEMONS INTO LEMONADE”.

Last month, Zayn shared a clip of his stripped back cover for a forthcoming Bollywood film. The former One Direction singer has provided his own take on Teri Deewani by hugely popular Bollywood singer Kalisah Kher.

Malik also mysteriously released new snippets of music on his Instagram, prompting reports that he could be gearing up for the release of his second album.

The former One Direction has already released two singles set to appear on his second album: ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ with Sia, and ‘Still Got Time’ with rapper PartyNextDoor.
