Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1 earlier today (April 12), Zayn said of his new album: “It’s a bit different to my last record in terms of it’s matured, [I’ve] got a bit older.”

“I didn’t know what was going on for a while,” he said. “I was just putting out a record and not really being as prominent as I wanted to be.”

Zayn went on to say that he’s more confident now, adding: “I think my confidence has definitely grown in the last year and a half.” He also alluded to “personal issues” that he has struggled with.

Malik has released two singles that could appear on his second album: the Sia-featuring ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ and ‘Still Got Time’ – a collaboration with rapper PartyNextDoor.
