Zayn Malik has teased “a few surprises” and shared a new Beyoncé cover.
The former One Direction star released his debut album ‘Mind Of Mine‘ in 2016. In a four-star review, NME wrote: “Zayn has clearly achieved his aim of making an album of sexy, credible pop-R&B. ‘Mind Of Mine’ is sumptuously produced and perfectly sung, with just enough intrigue. If it lacks personality, there are signs – especially on the dubby neo-soul of ‘Truth’ – that he’s in the process of developing one.”
On Twitter, Malik told fans: “Album is on the way, Got a few surprises for you too .. here’s a taster.” The tweet also contained a cover of Beyoncé’s ‘Me, Myself And I’. Listen to it below.

The singer recently confirmed that he has finished his second album. “It’s a bit different to my last record in terms of it’s matured, [I’ve] got a bit older,” he said. “I didn’t know what was going on for a while. I was just putting out a record and not really being as prominent as I wanted to be.”
While a tracklist for the record has yet to be confirmed, Malik has released four tracks that could appear on the new album – ‘Entertainer’, ‘Let Me’, PartyNextDoor collaboration ‘Still Got Time’, and the Sia-featuring ‘Dusk Till Dawn’.
No release date, title or further details of the follow-up to ‘Mind Of Mine’ have been confirmed at present.
