Netflix has revealed its most re-watched original movies for 2018 together with a list of its most binged original television shows.
The three films that were the most re-watched originals between January 1 2018 and November 28 2018 were teen rom-coms The Kissing Booth and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before together with Roxanne Roxanne, the emotive biopic about rapper Roxanne Shanté.
According to Netflix, almost 50% of viewers who watched Kissing Booth and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before rewatched them at least once. Netflix, who keep viewing figures under wraps, did not reveal how many people watched the films saying that the ranking bore “no relation to overall viewing.”
In the original TV listings, the shows with the highest US average viewing time were revealed to be On My Block, Making a Murderer Part 2 and the second season of 13 Reasons Why. The full list of the most binged TV shows is as follows:
- On My Block
- Making a Murderer: Part 2
- 13 Reasons Why: Season 2
- Last Chance U: INDY
- Fastest Car
- The Haunting of Hill House
- Anne with an E: Season 2

Recently, Netflix confirmed that television show Friends would stay on the streaming service throughout 2019, despite earlier reports to the contrary.
Netflix confirmed the show will remain on the UK version of the site in response to a fan who tweeted at the platform asking about the programme’s future. They responded: “The One Where Friends Is Going Nowhere, Don’t Worry.”
Later on, Netflix later issued another tweet reassuring US fans they would still be able to watch the hit show on Netflix too. “The Holiday Armadillo has granted your wish: “Friends” will still be there for you in the US throughout 2019,” the tweet read. A representative for Netflix also confirmed this to NME.
