The weekender will take place in Lancaster this May
New festival Highest Point will take place for the first time this Spring, with an eclectic raft of artists already confirmed to appear.
The inaugural edition of the event will be held at Lancaster’s Williamson Park between May 18-20.
Embrace will continue their comeback with a headline appearance on the festival’s second night, playing tracks from forthcoming new album ‘Love Is A Basic Need’. They will be joined by the likes of Joe Goddard’s The 2 Bears, Rae Morris, Jackmaster, Sasha, Bondax, Hacienda Classical, and more.
Event director Jamie Scahill said in a press release: “We’re really excited to see our line-up taking shape. Embrace are a massive name and huge favourites that we know will go down a storm in Lancaster. With them playing alongside huge name DJs and favourites such as Sasha, High Contrast, Jackmaster, Hacienda Classical, and K Klass, we know it’s going to be a weekend to remember in Williamson Park.”
More acts are still to be confirmed for Highest Point, which will also feature cocktail bars, street food, a silent disco, craft beer halls, live art, and walking theatre performers.
Tickets for Highest Point are available now, from £40 a day or £100 for a weekend pass. Every ticket sold will see £1 donated to Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of Chris Gelba, who worked for Preston-based ticket outlet and events guide Skiddle, and lost his battle with cancer in 2016.
