New photos from ‘Bad Boys 3’ set reveal potential spoilers

Potential spoilers incoming...

New photos from the set of Bad Boys for Lif3 (AKA Bad Boys 3) have emerged online and it looks like there could be a spoiler on the cards already.

The much anticipated sequel, which sees Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their roles as Detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, is set for release in 2020 after officially being confirmed by Smith back in November 2018.

Smith and Lawrence aren’t the only ones returning to the franchise. Joe Pantoliano is also back, reprising his role as Lowrey and Burnett’s long-suffering boss, Captain Howard.  You can see a video and images from the set below:

In new photos shared this week from the set of the Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah movie, it looks like Pantoliano’s character is involved in a storyline that could end in tragedy.

In the images, the actor can be seen lying on the ground covered in fake blood, after seemingly being shot. Lowrey is seen racing to his aid in one photo, before then crouching by his side in another, placing his hands around his captain’s neck searching for a pulse.

Confirmed in December by Deadline, the plot for Bad Boys for Lif3, which also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Charles Melton and Paola Nunez, will focus on drug cartel boss Armando Armas (played by Jacob Scipio) hunting down Lowrey and attempting to kill him at the request of his mother.

Meanwhile, it seems that Will Smith won’t be making a return as Deadshot in the Suicide Squad sequel.

The much-maligned superhero movie will be given a new lease of life when production begins on The Suicide Squad, which is set to be directed by Guardians Of The Galaxy’s James Gunn.

While full details of Gunn’s film are yet to emerge, it seems that Smith won’t be returning as the deadly assassin after reportedly turning down the chance to return after the filming schedule clashed with another upcoming project.
