Noel Gallagher UK tour sells out in 10 minutes

Gallagher will play shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow and more during March 2015

Noel Gallagher‘s UK tour sold out within 10 minutes of going on sale earlier today (October 17).

The former Oasis frontman – who releases new ‘Chasing Yesterday’ on March 2, 2015 – will tour the UK and Ireland next year with his band High Flying Birds. Kicking off in Belfast, Gallagher will then head to Dublin, Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester and London during March, immediately after his album release.

Tickets for the shows went on sale via Gallagher’s website at 9am. Many fans were left frustrated at not being able to purchase a ticket, with several expressing their disappointment via Twitter. “No luck for Noel Gallagher tickets,” said Jade Watts. “Here’s to hoping he plays Glastonbury.”

This year, Oasis’ first two albums – ‘Definitely Maybe’ and ‘(What’s The Story) Morning Glory?’ – have been reissued. NME’s newest Collector’s Edition is an attempt to bottle up and present the wild spirit of those times. Over 100 pages it tells the story of every song they wrote, recorded and released during the time, delves into the NME, Melody Maker and VOX archives to pick out some classic interviews, and builds up to the peak of their career: playing to a quarter of a million people at Knebworth Park in August 1996.
